The taxes recently put into effect by the NVTA were ruled as unconstitutional in that the NVTA had no authority to levy such taxes. It's located on Catoctin Circle just west of Market Street (bus. Rt. 7). I am a recreational enthusiast and have been very pleased that the Town of Leesburg has allowed and promoted a skate park. However, in terms of funding the skate park is very low on the list and could use improvement and be better maintained. While I'll confess that a skate park is a niche market and not necessarily something that all residents directly benefit from I think that indirect benefits exist for the community.
